What is Spacely Clothing?

Spacely is a Melbourne-based streetwear brand built for workers of imagination: DJs, producers, designers, and creators who treat creativity like labor. We make modular streetwear designed to coordinate, layer, and function as a uniform for people who value systems over shortcuts.

Our philosophy: Plan like an engineer. Create like a filmmaker. Move like a street artist.

What does "workers of imagination" mean?

People who show up daily and build systems. DJs who pack crates. Producers who work in DAWs. Designers who operate in Figma. Writers who treat words like code. Anyone who treats creativity like engineering: systematic, disciplined, repeatable. Not trend-hoppers. People who build.

What does "Discipline Creates Momentum" mean?

It is the core principle behind everything we build. Motivation is unreliable. Discipline is consistent. Small, repeated actions compound. Show up daily. Build systems. Refine. Repeat. This applies to how we design collections, run the brand, and serve our customers.

Who is behind Spacely?

Founder: Henry Skillz (Henry Mukhwana), a Melbourne-based creative with 15+ years in entertainment as a DJ, Ice Cream Sundays founder, and brand strategist. He has shared stages with Snoop Dogg, Mac Miller, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

GEMINI 8 FIELD TEST

What is GEMINI 8?

GEMINI 8 is our field test collection. Eight pieces. Limited production. Real-world testing by early adopters before the full ORBIT system.

Named after NASA's 1966 Gemini 8 mission, the orbital docking test that validated systems before Apollo reached the moon. Same principle: build, test, refine.

Why buy GEMINI 8 now?

Will GEMINI 8 pieces be available after the field test?

Some pieces transition to ORBIT with refinements. Some retire. Some evolve. It depends on field test feedback. If you want guaranteed access to specific colorways, buy them during GEMINI 8.

ORBIT

When does ORBIT launch?

ORBIT is building. No access date confirmed. ORBIT launches when the system is proven, not when the hype peaks. The Ground Crew get the signal first.

What is in the ORBIT collection?

What is a modular system?

Each piece is designed to work with the others. Tees layer under shirts. Vests pair with hoodies. Cargo pants work with everything. Not mix-and-match, engineered coordination. Uniform building blocks, not seasonal drops.

Will ORBIT be limited edition?

No. ORBIT is designed for ongoing availability. We are building a system, not a hype cycle. Some colorways may be limited. Core pieces will restock regularly.

What comes after ORBIT?

The system keeps building. New pieces release on the ORBIT foundation.


PRODUCTS AND SIZING

How do Spacely pieces fit?

General fit: loose, relaxed silhouettes, drop shoulder construction on most pieces, slightly oversized but not baggy.

  • Crop tee: cropped length, loose fit
  • Work shirt: boxy fit, cropped length
  • Astronaut tee: regular fit, loose silhouette
  • Hoodie: cropped length, drop shoulder, loose fit
  • Pants and shorts: oversized, relaxed fit, drawstring waist

Sizing: true to size for a relaxed fit, size up for oversized. Check the size chart on each product page.

I am between sizes. Up or down?

Size up if you want an oversized fit or plan to layer underneath. Size down if you prefer a more fitted look. When in doubt, size up. Our pieces are designed with room.

Do you offer size exchanges?

Yes. Email info@spacely.clothing within 30 days. We send a replacement once we receive the returned item, subject to stock. See the Returns & Exchanges policy.

What are your fabrics?

Tees: 100% cotton, 6.5 to 9.7oz heavyweight construction. Snow wash treatment on select pieces. Medium stretch on some styles.

Hoodies, pants, shorts: Cotton and polyester blends (57.4% polyester, 36.8% cotton, 5.8% other fibers). 10.3 to 14.7oz heavyweight fleece. Built for durability.

Work shirt: 100% polyester, 2.9oz lightweight, pinstripe pattern.

How do I care for my Spacely pieces?

Machine wash cold (30C), gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Iron low heat and avoid ironing on prints. Do not dry clean.

Snow wash pieces: expect continued fading over time. Wash inside out to preserve graphics. Batch variations in fabric and dye are normal.

Will colors fade?

Snow wash pieces are designed to fade for a vintage aesthetic. Standard pieces show minimal fading with proper care. Wash cold, inside out.

Are graphics screen-printed or heat-transferred?

Most graphics are screen-printed for durability. Some details may be heat-transferred depending on design complexity. All prints are tested for wash durability before production.


ORDERING AND PAYMENT

What payment methods do you accept?

All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments.

Do you offer payment plans?

Not currently. Full payment is required at checkout.

Can I modify or cancel my order?

Within 24 hours, email info@spacely.clothing. If the order has not shipped, we can modify or cancel it. After 24 hours, follow the standard return process once you receive the item.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes. Confirmation is emailed immediately after you order. Check your spam folder if you do not see it within 10 minutes.

My payment was declined. What do I do?

Common reasons: insufficient funds, the bank flagged the transaction, an incorrect billing address, or an expired card. Contact your bank first, then retry checkout or use a different method.


SHIPPING

How long does shipping take?

Australia: Standard 2-5 business days ($10, free over $100). Express 1-2 business days ($20). International: 7-21 business days. Processing time is 1-2 business days before shipment (2-3 for GEMINI 8).

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. New Zealand, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Singapore. The customer pays customs duties and taxes on international orders.

How do I track my order?

A tracking number is emailed when your order ships. Track through the carrier website or your Spacely account.

My package says delivered but I did not receive it.

Check with neighbours and building management, verify your shipping address, wait 48 hours, contact the carrier with your tracking number, and email info@spacely.clothing if it is still not located.

Do you ship to PO boxes?

Domestic express only. Standard and international orders cannot ship to PO boxes.


RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

What is your return policy?

Standard: 30 days from delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, with original tags. GEMINI 8: extended 45-day window for field test participants. See the full Returns & Exchanges Policy.

How do I return an item?

Email info@spacely.clothing with your order number and item(s), receive a Return Authorization number, ship the item back with the RA number included. Refund processed within 5-7 business days of receiving the return.

Who pays return shipping?

You pay for standard returns (sizing, change of mind). We pay for defective items, incorrect items, or our error.

Can I exchange for a different size or color?

Yes. Follow the return process and state your exchange preference. Subject to stock availability.

What if my item is defective?

Email info@spacely.clothing immediately with photos. We arrange a replacement or refund at no cost and cover return shipping.


ACCOUNT AND EMAIL

Do I need an account to order?

No. Guest checkout is available. An account gives you order history, faster checkout, and early access to releases.

How do I create an account?

Click Account in the header, then Create Account, and enter your email and password. Or create one during checkout.

I forgot my password.

Click Account, then Forgot Password, enter your email, and check your inbox for the reset link.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?

Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email. You will still receive order confirmation and shipping notifications, which are required for order processing.

How often do you send emails?

Marketing: 1-2 per week (product updates, Field Notes posts, release alerts). Transactional: as needed (order confirmation, shipping notification).


MANUFACTURING AND ETHICS

Where are your products made?

Designed in Melbourne. Manufactured in China. We prioritize long-term relationships with manufacturers who share our quality standards.

Are your products ethically made?

We work with vetted manufacturers who meet international labor standards. We prioritize transparency and long-term partnerships over lowest-cost production, and we document this in Field Notes.

What about sustainability?

Current practices: heavyweight fabrics built for durability, snow wash treatment that encourages long-term wear, timeless design over trend cycles, and small batch production to reduce waste. We are working on sustainable material sourcing and circular design, and will document progress in Field Notes.

Do you use recycled materials?

Not currently. This is on the roadmap for future capsules.


COLLABORATIONS AND WHOLESALE

Do you collaborate with artists or brands?

Not a current focus. ORBIT is about building the foundation first. Future collaborations will prioritize cultural alignment over financial gain. If you have a compelling idea, email info@spacely.clothing.

Do you offer wholesale?

Not currently. We are focused on direct-to-consumer. Wholesale may be considered later. Email info@spacely.clothing.

Can I become an ambassador or affiliate?

Not structured yet, but we are building a community of early adopters. GEMINI 8 participants get first consideration for future programs.


COMMUNITY AND EVENTS

What is Ice Cream Sundays?

Melbourne's longest-running independent hip-hop event series, founded by Henry Skillz. Not directly connected to Spacely but it shares the same cultural DNA: discipline, consistency, community over hype.

Do you host events?

Not currently. Later we may host pop-ups, workshops, or community events in Melbourne. The Ground Crew will be notified first.

Is the site secure?

Yes. SSL encryption. Secure checkout through Shopify. Payment information is never stored on our servers.
