What is Spacely Clothing?

Spacely is a Melbourne-based streetwear brand built for workers of imagination — DJs, producers, designers, and creators who treat creativity like labor. We make modular streetwear designed to coordinate, layer, and function as a uniform for people who value systems over shortcuts.

Our philosophy: Plan like an engineer. Create like a filmmaker. Move like a street artist.

What does "workers of imagination" mean?

People who show up daily and build systems. DJs who pack crates. Producers who work in DAWs. Designers who operate in Figma. Writers who treat words like code. Anyone who treats creativity like engineering: systematic, disciplined, repeatable.

Not people chasing viral moments. Not trend-hoppers. People who build.

What does "Discipline Creates Momentum" mean?

It's the core principle behind everything we build. Motivation is unreliable. Discipline is consistent. Small, repeated actions compound over time. Show up daily. Build systems. Refine. Repeat.

Who is behind Spacely?

Founder: Henry Skillz (Henry Mukhwana), Melbourne-based creative entrepreneur with 15+ years in entertainment (touring DJ, Ice Cream Sundays founder, brand strategist). Background includes global tours with Snoop Dogg, Mac Miller, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

Where are you based?

Melbourne, Australia. Designed in Melbourne. Manufactured in China, Pakistan, and Australia.

GEMINI 8 FIELD TEST

What is GEMINI 8?

GEMINI 8 is our field test collection running January 23 – May 2026. Eight pieces. Limited production. Real-world testing by early adopters before the full ORBIT collection launches in May.

Named after NASA's 1966 Gemini 8 mission — the orbital docking test that validated systems before Apollo reached the moon. Same principle: build, test, refine.

Why should I buy GEMINI 8 instead of waiting for ORBIT?

What's in the ORBIT collection?

Eight core pieces designed to coordinate and layer:

What is a "modular system"?

Each piece is designed to work with the others. Tees layer under shirts. Vests pair with hoodies. Cargo pants work with everything. Not mix-and-match — engineered coordination.

Think: uniform building blocks. Not seasonal drops.

Will ORBIT be limited edition?

No. ORBIT is designed for ongoing availability. We're building a system, not a hype cycle.

Some colorways may be limited. Core pieces (black, white, core graphics) will restock regularly.

What comes after ORBIT?

GRAVITY CHECK (Q3 2026): Next capsule. Evolution of the system.

Then ongoing quarterly releases building on the ORBIT foundation.

How do Spacely pieces fit?

General fit philosophy:

  • Loose, relaxed silhouettes
  • Drop shoulder construction on most pieces
  • Slightly oversized but not baggy

Specific fits:

  • ORBIT Crop Tee 001: Cropped length (hip-level), loose fit
  • ORBIT Contrast Stitch Tee RT0039: Regular length, loose fit, drop shoulder
  • SPACELY ASTRONAUT TEE RT0063: Regular fit, loose silhouette
  • ORBIT Work Shirt 3001: Boxy fit, cropped length
  • Cosmic Camo Hoodie: Cropped length, drop shoulder, loose fit
  • Cosmic Camo Pants/Shorts: Oversized, relaxed fit, drawstring waist

Sizing recommendation:

  • True to size for relaxed fit
  • Size up for oversized fit
  • Check size charts on each product page

I'm between sizes. Should I size up or down?

Size up if:

  • You want an oversized fit
  • You're between sizes and prefer looser fit
  • You plan to layer underneath

Size down if:

  • You prefer a more fitted look (though most pieces are designed loose)
  • You're exactly between sizes and want minimal excess fabric

When in doubt: Size up. Our pieces are designed with room.


Do you offer size exchanges?

Yes. See Returns & Exchanges policy.

Process:

What are your fabrics?

Tees:

  • 100% cotton, 6.5–9.7oz heavyweight construction
  • Snow wash treatment on select pieces
  • Medium stretch on some styles

Hoodies/Pants/Shorts:

  • Cotton/polyester blends (57.4% polyester, 36.8% cotton, 5.8% other fibers)
  • 10.3–14.7oz heavyweight fleece
  • Built for durability

Work Shirt:

  • 100% polyester, 2.9oz lightweight
  • Pinstripe pattern

How should I care for my Spacely pieces?

Standard care (all items):

  • Machine wash cold (30°C), gentle cycle
  • Do not bleach
  • Tumble dry low
  • Iron low heat (avoid ironing on prints)
  • Do not dry clean

Snow wash pieces:

  • Expect continued fading over time (that's the point)
  • Wash inside out to preserve graphics

Note: Batch variations in fabric/dye are normal. We work to minimize differences.

Will colors fade?

Snow wash pieces: Yes, designed to fade for vintage aesthetic. Controlled fading.

Standard pieces: Minimal fading with proper care. Wash cold, inside out.

Are graphics screen-printed or heat-transferred?

Most graphics are screen-printed (higher durability). Some details may be heat-transferred depending on design complexity.

All prints are tested for wash durability before production.

ORDERING & PAYMENT

What payment methods do you accept?

Do you offer payment plans?

Not currently. Full payment required at checkout.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

Within 24 hours: Email orders@spacelyclothing.com immediately. If order hasn't shipped, we can modify or cancel.

After 24 hours: Follow standard return process once you receive the item.

Will I receive order confirmation?

Yes. Email confirmation sent immediately after order is placed. Check spam folder if you don't see it within 10 minutes.

My payment was declined. What should I do?

Common reasons:

  • Insufficient funds
  • Bank flagged transaction as suspicious (international charge)
  • Incorrect billing address
  • Card expired

Solution: Contact your bank first. Then retry checkout or use different payment method.

SHIPPING

How long does shipping take?

Australia:

  • Standard: 2-5 business days ($10, free over $100)
  • Express: 1-2 business days ($20)

International:

  • 7-21 business days (varies by country and customs)

Processing time: 1-2 business days before shipment (2-3 for GEMINI 8)

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Current countries: New Zealand, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Singapore.

Note: Customer pays customs duties/taxes for international orders.

How can I track my order?

Tracking number sent via email when order ships. Track through carrier website or your Spacely account.

My package says "delivered" but I didn't receive it. What should I do?

  1. Check with neighbors, building management
  2. Verify shipping address in your order confirmation
  3. Wait 48 hours (sometimes marked delivered early)
  4. Contact carrier with tracking number
  5. Email us if still not located: orders@spacelyclothing.com

Do you ship to PO boxes?

Domestic express only. Standard shipping and international orders cannot ship to PO boxes.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

What's your return policy?

Standard: 30 days from delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, with original tags.

GEMINI 8: Extended 45-day window for field test participants.

How do I return an item?

  1. Email returns@spacelyclothing.com with order number and item(s) to return
  2. Receive Return Authorization (RA) number
  3. Ship item back with RA number included
  4. Refund processed within 5-7 business days of receiving return

Who pays return shipping?

You pay: Standard returns (sizing issues, change of mind)

We pay: Defective items, incorrect items, our error

Can I exchange for a different size or color?

Yes. Follow return process and indicate exchange preference. Subject to stock availability.

What if my item is defective?

Email orders@spacelyclothing.com immediately with photos. We'll arrange replacement or refund at no cost. We cover return shipping for defective items.

Where are your products made?

We prioritize long-term relationships with manufacturers who share our quality standards.

Are your products ethically made?

We work with vetted manufacturers who meet international labor standards. We prioritize transparency and long-term partnerships over lowest-cost production.

We're continually improving our supply chain practices and will document this journey in Field Notes.

What about sustainability?

Current practices:

  • Heavyweight fabrics designed for durability (not disposable fashion)
  • Snow wash treatment creates vintage aesthetic (encourages long-term wear)
  • Focus on timeless design over trend cycles

Do you use recycled materials?

Not currently. This is on our roadmap for future capsules.

Not currently focused on collaborations. ORBIT is about building the foundation first.

Melbourne's longest-running independent hip-hop event series, founded by Henry Skillz. Not directly connected to Spacely but shares the same cultural DNA: discipline, consistency, community over hype.

Do you host events?

Not currently. Post-ORBIT launch, we may host pop-ups, workshops, or community events in Melbourne.
